Pictures and a video from my trip to Scotland, walking up Ben Nevis.

Although I have written an entry on my trip to Scotland, I didn't put all of my favourite pictures in the post. So this is just a post with a few more pictures in from such a memorable weekend. :)
Down into Glen Nevis.

A steady initial climb.

It was a foggy start to the day.

The mountain hut.

First glimpse of the Arete.

The mountains were huge.

Simon took a few minutes for a few breathers. But then, so did I.

Grand views.

Such grand views.

Half way up, looking down.

The Carn Mor Dearg Arete.

Brocken Spectre.

Ready for a scramble!

The Carn Mor Dearg Arete and Ben Nevis.

Looking over from Carn Mor Dearg.

Surveying the task ahead.

Not such a bad route, is it?

Taking a break.

Tackling the CMD Arete, was so much fun.

Looking over the edge of the Arete.

Favourite view of the day.

Looking along the CMD Arete, about half way through the traverse.

Back down the valley.

Looking back down the Carn Mor Dearg Arete.

The face of Ben Nevis.

The narrowest section of the Arete.

Looking back along the Carn Mor Dearg Arete from the cairn.

Our first view of the summit.

Me, on the summit of Ben Nevis.

The refuge hut and old observatory ruins on the summit of Ben Nevis.

The summit of Ben Nevis.

The summit of Ben Nevis.

My new favourite trail food - Jelly Babies.

Looking down into Fort William during our descent after sunset.
